Full stack developer

We’re building the technology to turn end user mobile phones into a distributed sensor network at a scale never before possible and we are looking for developers to help us share this data with our community. On the frontend we are looking for engineers to help develop our websites, coverage maps, data visualization console, and reports. You’ll be working on products that showcase all the data that we have collected from millions of contributors across the globe. More backend focused, we are looking for developers to write APIs used by our mobile apps, and work on the data pipeline that receives and processes terrabytes of data.

Desirable attributes:

• Strong, well rounded background in software engineering. CS degree is not a requirement/autodidacts welcome.
• Writing clean, concise and highly efficient code is what gets you up in the morning.
• History working in development teams and strong communication skills.

Desirable skills:

• Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular or jQuery.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools like Gulp, Grunt etc.
• Experience with at least one Python framework.
• Experience in online mapping or visualizations (we use D3.js) a bonus.
