Software Engineer – Web Development

We are looking for a proactive Web Developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will collaborate with our engineers and scientists in the creation and improvement of tools for BRANDCRUMB users and systems using the best technologies on the market.

Responsibilities:

· Improve and maintain our JavaScript based client-side components, with an eye to cross browser compatibility.

· Improve and maintain our existing high-load/low-latency server side components.

· Create web tools for both our clients and our internal teams to improve the interaction between users and system.

Essential qualifications:

· Strong experience in JavaScript development, both client-side and server-side.

· Strong experience with SQL databases (MySQL preferred).

· Experience with version control systems (Git or SVN).

· Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures, REST architectures, JSON and AJAX.

· B.Sc. in Computer Science or comparable work experience.

· Fluent English is required. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.

· Work permit for the European Economic Area.

Preferred qualifications:

· Experience with PHP, Ruby, Python is a plus.

· Experience in continuous integration is a plus.
